Baby food "recipes"

Since Steve has taken on all of the cooking responsibilities after I went back to work, my only source of food creativity is preparing meals for the little Philbert. It's not terribly complicated, but I really enjoy putting together something that he seems to enjoy. Here are my recent favorites:

Pumpkin-carrot "soup"
(based on the butternut squash-carrot soup I made the last 2 years from our CSA produce)
  • pureed pumpkin
  • pureed carrot
  • rice cereal
  • water to desired consistency
  • curry powder (I'm still working up the courage to add this in, even though I know it's fine for Phil to have)

Banana yogurt

  • mashed banana
  • whole milk yogurt
  • oatmeal (optional)
  • water to desired consistency (only if adding oatmeal)
